What drinks are good for our teeth?

11th Dec 2024
As part of our topic P2 have been learning about our teeth and how to keep them healthy.  This week we are scientists and we are investigating which drinks are good for our teeth.  We are learning how important it is to make sure it is a fair test.  We have used eggs to represent our teeth because the egg shell has calcium in it, just like our teeth.  We are testing what happens when they are left in water, coca cola, milk and fresh orange juice.  We have made our predictions and chosen which drink we think is best for our teeth.  We have also made a range of predictions about what we think will happen to the egg in each drink.  We have been monitoring our experiment each day and we are really excited for the final results!  We hope that we are right!
