Activity Based Learning

24th Sep 2023

Our WAU topic is 'The Great Fire of London' this term. We have been enjoying our ABL activities linked to our topic. So far we have been using mobilo to build fire engines. Working together in small groups we have been completing a 300 piece fire themed jigsaw. we have been using Knex to build a new bridge for The River Thames. We had to program Blue Bot to help the fireman rescue Samuel Pepys diary. Using paint on the computer we are creating a fire scene. We are also developing our skills of prediction, observation and recording through some science activities. Every Tuesday we are have been cooking as the fire started in a bakery shop in Pudding Lane.
