What a brilliant second day we all had in London! The sun was shining brightly as we tucked into a delicious hot breakfast, filling our bellies with bacon, eggs, sausages, toast, and more.

We then boarded our bus and battled through the busy traffic before arriving at the amazing Tower of London, where we got to see the spectacular Crown Jewels and learned lots of fascinating facts along the way.

Next, we took in breathtaking views of the city as we boarded the London Eye. Some of us were a little nervous at first, but we were so proud to conquer our fear of heights!

Mr Thompson then led us on a very long walk around London, where we saw some of the city’s most famous landmarks, including Palace of Westminster, 10 Downing Street, Horse Guards Parade, and Buckingham Palace, to name just a few.

After enjoying a delicious tea at PizzaExpress, we headed to see The Lion King — WHAT A SHOW! We absolutely loved the music, costumes, dancing, and incredible puppetry, and we can’t wait to see another show soon.

We finally arrived back at the hotel at 11:15pm and headed straight to bed… especially with a 6:30am start waiting for us the next morning!

Best day ever!

What a fantastic, fun-filled first day in London! After a very early start, we left school at 6:15am and headed to Belfast City Airport. Once our bags were checked in, we boarded the plane and set off for London.
When we arrived, we met our coach driver, Charlie, and made our way to Legoland — what an amazing place! We had great fun on the roller coasters, loved exploring the incredible LEGO models, and definitely enjoyed spending plenty of money in the shop!

After an exciting day, we checked into our hotel and sat down to a delicious evening meal. Later, we headed out for a game of ten-pin bowling, where Zoe achieved the highest score — even beating Mr Thompson!
Back at the hotel, we decided an early night was needed to prepare for another busy day tomorrow. We miss you all, but we are having an absolutely fantastic time!
