Class visit by Paul Howard (illustrator/author)

17th Nov 2022

We had great fun working with the author/illustrator Paul Howard. One of the books Paul illustrated was 'The Owl who was afraid of the Dark.'  Paul brought along copies of the books he has written or illustrated for us to look at and he told us a little bit about his job.  He then read a short description about Plop, the owl who was afraid of the dark and discussed how he drew the picture of Plop using this description.  Finally, Paul helped us to draw our own pictures of Plop.  We all got our own signed copy of the book @the Owl who was afraid of the Dark' and a bookmark rom Paul.  It was an amazing experience for us to meet and work with a real illustrator/ author.
