Green Flag Award 2019

7th Oct 2019

Congratulations to the Eco-School committee and their leader, Mrs Atkins, for all their hard work regaining our Green Flag status. Every two years the school is reassessed to check whether we have continued to invest in environmental education.  This is our second Green Flag Award.

We are pleased to announce that the external assessors recognised the commitment of the children and the staff of Dungannon Primary School. “The work that the Eco-Committee and the school have done is outstanding, it is clearly evident that a lot of time and effort has been taken in order to get the school to the eco standard that it is. Everyone at Dungannon Primary should be proud of themselves for the work they have done and I hope they continue the good work with the future Eco-Committees.”

The school is very proud of achieving our second Green Flag award and would like to say a big thank you to the Eco-Committee, Mrs Atkins and all the staff for all their hard work.
