P4 have been learning about WW2. Our ABL tasks have all been related to our topic. We have been making spitfires out of card and knex. We rebuilt our homes using Lego after the blitz. We have been playing 1940’s games together. Our puzzle table had a 250 piece jigsaw which had a lovely farm scene, many evacuees found themselves living on the farm after they were evacuated. We have been programming bee bot to find WW2 items. We have been reading books about WW2 also. In small world we worked together to build a train track, evacuees were sent by train to their new homes. We have been creating blitz scenes in art and creating our own evacuee characters.
