Literacy

This term we have been completing activities relating to our Sounds-Write phonics programme.  Children have increased their ability to spelling polysyllabic words such as lemonade, Wednesday and frozen.  We have also been learning about Fiction and non-Fiction, nouns, verbs and adjectives.  We have been studying, more closely, what happens to the base verb when -ing is added to make an -ing verb.  We were able to sort base verbs into groups.
