P2 visit the Palace Stables

10th Oct 2024

Primary 2 have been learning all about Autumn and visited the Palace Stables in Armagh for Apple Week.

We had a great time learning all about apples.  We found out about the journey of the apple from when it is picked to the products we can buy in the shop.  We had a fun visit back in time and learnt how to use an apple press to make apple juice as well as visiting the cook to find out about making apple potato bread.  Primary 2 really enjoyed making an apple craft to take home

Everybody had a super day out.  Have a look at our photos to see what we got up to.
