Practical numeracy linked to WAU

In WAU we have been looking at rainforest animals. First we sorted the animals by one characteristic, we generated lots of interesting ways to group them. Next we used a carroll diagram to sort by two criteria. We created our own labels and in pairs we sorted the animals into their correct boxes. We enjoyed working in our pairs.
