Primary 2's class trip to Palace Stables, Armagh

21st Oct 2024
Primary 2 have been learning all about Autumn.  As part of this topic we have been looking at the journey of the apple.  We had a wonderful time at the Palace Stables in Armagh.

Have a look at our photos to see what we did.  We 'met' people from the olden days.  We used an old press to make some apple juice and we made potato and apple bread in an old oven.  We also learnt about the journey of the apple from the time it is picked in the orchard until we can buy it in the shops.

It was a fantastic day and Primary 2 thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
