Primary 6 Young Business

Mr Thompson kindly upped the profits from our soap sales to £250 and Primary 6 headed off to Home Bargains with the cash for a real life numeracy lesson. The children were put in groups to make decisions on which products to buy and work out the total amount before going to the till to buy and hand over cash.  The items were all brought back to school and wrapped up ready to be given out to patients in Loane House next week. This was an excellent lesson where the children not only developed real life money skills but enhanced their appreciation of life’s most important lessons of all; help others in need in our community and to always be kind. Well done Primary 6.
