Rainforest Activity Based Learning

P4 are beginning a new topic on Rainforests. We are enjoying our weekly activity based learning. The book table has proved popular and we are learning lots of interesting facts. In construction we have been building models and using  Knex to create rainforest animals. Over the next couple of weeks we are going to work on a collaborative rainforest jigsaw. Our craft and technology table have been making a rainmaker. In art we looked at Henri Rousseau and have been mixing shades of green using primary colours.
