We've been learning about our SOLAR SYSTEM!

10th Feb 2022

We've learnt a lot about the different planets in our solar system and we decided which planet would be safest to visit. We ranked them using 'DIAMOND RANKING' in groups and explained why we thought some were safe, and why some very very dangerous.

We also went outside on the field and mapped out to scale the first 4 tocky planets: Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars. Thats all we could fit in. You can just about see the sun, and pairs of us holding the planets. Space is huge.

Our sun was 70cm in diameter so that puts Mars 114m away on the field. Mars is the size of small seed!
